Friends of Hungary Conference to Be Held for the 6th Time This Weekend

On the first weekend in May, members of the Friends of Hungary Foundation will come from all over the world to spend the weekend together in Budapest for the sixth time. Attendees of the private Friends of Hungary Conference will spend the weekend exchanging ideas, sharing stories of one another’s and the motherland’s successes and raising awareness about the challenges and problems faced by their communities. ReConnect Hungary is a unique cultural, educational and social immersion program for young adults of Hungarian heritage.  The program provides the gift of a peer-group heritage and cultural immersion trip to Hungary for Hungarian-North American young adults between the ages of 18 and 28 who want to strengthen their personal Hungarian identity through connection to the country, culture and heritage.
